Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dependable General Laborer to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting field operations through hands-on tasks that ensure smooth production. Your energetic approach and attention to safety will help maintain a productive, efficient, and safe work environment. Responsibilities
- Construction Laborer is responsible for general laborer duties and support on construction sites
- Use various equipment, hand, and power tools
- Prepare ground trenches for pipes and utility lines
- Remove, fill, or compact earth
- Responsible for the site set-up and clean-up
- Load and unload tools, materials, and equipment on the truck
- Will be involved in new site Job Safety Analysis - JSA prior to starting construction
- Setting up safety perimeter using signage, cones, and safety barriers and at times flagging traffic
- May be required to work overtime; after hours; on weekends, for emergencies, or be on-call as work is needed to ensure work is completed
- Ability to follow instructions
Skills
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently throughout shifts
- Knowledge of PPE use and safety procedures to prevent accidents or injuries
- Good physical stamina, with the ability to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt quickly in a fast-paced setting
Pay: $25.00 per hour
