Duties
- Prepare fresh sandwiches and food items according to company standards, ensuring quality and presentation.
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process sales accurately and efficiently.
- Manage customer orders with professionalism, upselling additional items to enhance the guest experience.
- Handle cash register operations, processing cash, credit/debit transactions.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to sanitation and food safety standards throughout your shift.
- Assist with inventory management by restocking supplies and monitoring food safety practices in the kitchen area.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions, and resolving concerns promptly.
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, food handling, or quick service restaurant environments.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for retail sales transactions.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods.
- Excellent customer service abilities with a friendly attitude and effective communication skills.
- Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and kitchen equipment operation.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations for cash handling and order processing accurately.
- Previous retail or grocery store experience is a plus but not required; a willingness to learn is essential.
