About the Role
As a CBRE Debt Advisory & Structured Financial Principal, you will leverage your extensive expertise to drive innovative solutions and strategic decisions within the Debt Advisory & Structured Finance function. You will be responsible for analyzing complex data and information to prepare reports and loan submission packages, while also influencing key stakeholders and guiding the direction of projects and services.
What You’ll Do
Gather and organize data on national and global commercial real estate markets by researching a variety of sources
Interface with key clients, lenders, and government agencies to complete tasks
Study complex commercial real estate industry conditions, forecasts, and trends
Prepare a variety of reports, statements, and evaluations for senior management review
Arrange for the preparation of graphics or illustrations to support research findings
Assist in high-profile business development opportunities and support marketing efforts with new and existing clients
Prepare multifaceted reports for internal team review
Apply advanced knowledge to develop improved methods for achieving individual and departmental objectives
Demonstrate expertise in your discipline and maintain in-depth knowledge of related functions within the organization
Coach and mentor others to develop expertise across multiple areas within the function
Lead by example and model behaviors consistent with CBRE’s RISE values
Anticipate potential objections and effectively persuade senior stakeholders with differing viewpoints
Drive the achievement of customer, operational, project, and service objectives across multidisciplinary teams
Work within functional policies that influence the design of procedures and processes
Contribute to new products, processes, standards, and operational plans
Communicate complex ideas clearly and with influence
Apply advanced principles, techniques, and theories to develop innovative solutions

Negotiate with senior management, clients, regulators, and vendors to influence high-impact strategic decisions What You’ll Need
Bachelor’s degree preferred with 10–15 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of education and experience will be considered
In-depth expertise in leading-edge theories, techniques, and/or technologies within your function
Ability to solve unique problems using both standard and innovative solutions with broad business impact
Highly developed math skills, including the ability to calculate complex figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related computations
Strong organizational skills with an advanced, inquisitive mindset
Ability to exercise sound judgment based on analysis of multiple information sources
Willingness to challenge conventional thinking and apply new perspectives to existing solutions
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and related tools
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future
CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Debt and Structure Finance Principal position is $200,000 annually and the maximum salary for the Debt and Structure Finance Principal position is $250,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience.
