Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Automotive Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing comprehensive vehicle repairs, maintenance, and diagnostics to ensure optimal vehicle performance and safety. This role requires a strong background in automotive repair with a focus on customer service and technical expertise.
Responsibilities
- Conduct automotive repairs including brake repair, transmission repair, and suspension system repair.
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance to ensure longevity and reliability.
- Utilize automotive diagnostics tools to identify issues accurately and efficiently.
- Use hand tools and maintain personal toolboxes for various repair tasks.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs and maintenance needs clearly to clients.
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and industry regulations.
- Maintain detailed records of repairs, parts used, and services performed.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of shop experience as an Automotive Mechanic.
- Proven expertise in automotive diagnostics, brake repair, transmission repair, and suspension system repair.
- Must possess a comprehensive set of hand tools with a toolbox for daily use.
- Prior references from previous employers or clients are required to verify experience and work quality.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service.
