Schedule: M-F 6:30 am-4:00 pm

Primary Function:
Coordinates all work in the shop through prioritization and employee work assignment. Maintains daily log of all work to be performed. Coordinates work assignments through consultation with Sales and Design Departments. Works with Purchasing to ensure material availability. Responsible for supervision of all aspects of shop. Identifying and solve problems that affect productivity.
Job Requirements:
1. High School Education
2. 5 years experience in metal fabrication industry
3. 2 years experience as Supervisor in Fabrication/Industrial setting
4. Ability to read and understand technical drawings
5. The ability to work with employees who possess English as a second language.

Responsibilities:
1. Assignment and scheduling of daily activities for shop personnel.
2. Prioritize shop workload based on current and scheduled future projects.
3. Organizes work for smooth operations.
4. Coordinate activities with Design to ensure project meets customer requirements.
5. Coordinate activities with Purchasing to ensure materials are available
for projects.
6. Coordinate activities with Shipping and Receiving to ensure products
are shipped in a timely manner
7. Oversees employees to maintain safe working environment.
8. Ensures that established procedures, rules, and regulations are followed.
9. Handles any problem, employee or customer related, that arise.
10. Holds daily meeting with employees to issue work assignment and clarify misunderstandings in regards to assignment.
11. Promotes employee job performance through example and leadership.
12. Attends production meetings as scheduled.
13. Assigns tasks for all non-fabrication personnel assigned to shop.
14. Maintains awareness of field service work personnel and their scheduled assignments as needed.
15. Monitors progress of work throughout the day to ensure high employee productivity on all projects.
16. Intervenes when required to ensure deadline commitments.
17. Works with Designers and Sales to serve as Quality Control on all projects from start to completion
18. Coordinates the vacation and time-off requests for shop employees to ensure adequate work force.
19. Ensures proper information is available to maintain efficient and effective progress of projects.
20. Maintains thorough knowledge of all processes and equipment.
21. Maintain status/progress information on all projects in the shop.
22. Has free latitude in solving problems and conducting his/her responsibilities, as long as the production plan is met and the cost center
is operated within approved budgets.
23. Recommend changes to management operations and other shop issues.
24. Any and all tasks as assigned by President/CEO.
