Duties:
- Safely operate a roll-off truck to load, transport and deliver large open top containers to customer locations, disposal sites or recycle facilities.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in proper working condition
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving and operating the truck
- Communicate with dispatch to receive instructions and updates on delivery routes
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents or accidents that occur
Qualifications:
- Valid Class B or higher Commercial Driver's license with air brakes endorsement and a clean driving record
- Salary based on roll-off experience. Prefer at least 2 years of experience as a delivery driver, preferably with experience operating roll-off trucks or similar heavy-duty vehicles
- Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to perform basic maintenance tasks on the truck
- Excellent communication skills and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Be dependable, reliable and trustworthy
- Be able to pass a background check and drug test.
