JOB SUMMARY:
To ensure the cleanliness and condition of all hotel linens. This includes washing, drying, folding, hanging, ironing, and storing. Laundry Attendants are responsible for providing a constant supply of clean linens for the hotel.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Sort all linens and treat stains

Load all laundry into washer and add specified cleaning agents

Take wet, clean items and dry as directed

Sort and fold or hang clean dried items

Maintain inventory of all cleaning supplies and communicate needs to manager / director

Maintaining all laundry equipment and inform facilities manager as to any maintenance needs

Perform additional laundry services when necessary

Clean and maintain laundry room areas while keeping up with standards set by management

Ensure high level of customer service is maintained at all times
- Assist guests with all questions and reasonable requests
- Ensure accurate information is provided to all internal and external customers

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Visual acuity to inspect and monitor cleaning standards
Prior experience in a hotel environment preferred

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Working extended hours may be required as needed

Regularly required to stand, walk, sit, use repetitive wrist and finger movement, handle or feel objects, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
- Work on a computer for extended periods of time, approximately 8+ hours per day

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
