Chileda is seeking a Clinical Director (referred to internally as Director of Clinical Services) to provide leadership and oversight for comprehensive clinical services supporting students in our residential and educational programs. This role serves as the organization’s senior clinical leader and is responsible for ensuring high‑quality, ethical, and trauma‑informed care.

What You’ll Do
Clinical & Program Leadership
- Lead clinical departments including Counseling, Health & Wellness, Family Services, and Treatment Planning
- Advance trauma‑informed care and evidence‑based treatment models
- Provide strategic direction aligned with student needs and organizational priorities
Direct Clinical Oversight
- Conduct or support clinical assessments, intakes, evaluations, and therapy as needed
- Provide crisis consultation and clinical decision‑making in emergent situations
- Facilitate critical incident reviews and staff debriefings
Collaboration & Culture
- Partner with department directors to coordinate multidisciplinary treatment approaches
- Participate in organizational leadership to promote a trauma‑informed culture
Treatment Planning & Outcomes
- Oversee treatment planning processes and ensure regulatory compliance
- Review annual treatment goals and track student outcomes and permanency data
Family Engagement & Aftercare
- Promote meaningful family involvement from admission through post‑discharge
- Lead Aftercare and Transition Support Services and post‑discharge planning
Supervision & Staff Development
- Supervise, coach, and mentor clinical managers, counselors, and case managers
- Support professional growth and high‑performance standards
Client Rights & Compliance
- Serve as Lead Client Rights Specialist and oversee internal investigations
- Ensure compliance with licensing, accreditation, and contractual requirements
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or Nursing required
- Preferred (not required): LCSW, LPC, BCBA, School Psychologist, or RN with behavioral health experience
- Leadership experience in healthcare, behavioral health, or human services
- Strong systems‑level thinking, collaboration, and regulatory compliance skills
- Experience with trauma‑informed, integrated care and family engagement
