Duties
- Assist with food preparation and cooking to ensure timely delivery of high-quality dishes.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards across all kitchen areas, including countertops, equipment, and utensils.
- Support food handling procedures following safety regulations to prevent contamination and ensure freshness.
- Buss tables and clear dining areas promptly to facilitate efficient service flow.
- Handle manual lifting of supplies, ingredients, and equipment using safe lifting practices to prevent injury.
- Support food running duties by delivering dishes from the kitchen to guests efficiently while maintaining presentation standards.
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and billing accuracy.
- Assist with heavy lifting tasks during inventory or supply restocking while adhering to safety protocols.
- Provide in-person customer service by addressing guest inquiries courteously and professionally.
- Support banquet or event setups when required, ensuring all food service needs are met seamlessly.
Qualifications
- Previous food service experience in restaurants or hospitality settings is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques.
- Experience with kitchen tasks such as cooking, food preparation, and cleaning is advantageous.
- Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and follow safe lifting practices consistently.
- Strong communication skills for effective teamwork and guest interactions.
- Experience working in hotel or banquet environments is beneficial but not mandatory.
- A positive attitude with a passion for hospitality and guest services.
