Responsible for the production and performance of the fabrication facilities. These responsibilities range from scheduling, personnel management and reviews to quality control.
DUTIES:

Provide leadership and guidance for shop employees

Adhere to and enforce all company policies

Manage all aspects of the fabrication shop, including personnel, equipment, tools, materials, etc.

Update and maintain the appropriate items in the production schedule
-
Update and maintain the fabrication schedule

Coordinate and schedule deliveries
-
Establish and publish standard fabrication procedures
-
Maintain high quality standards and quality control procedures to ensure that the customers get a quality product on time
-
Continually evaluate production procedures to increase effectiveness of employees, efficiency of production, and improve quality

Communicate with other departments to ensure project schedules are met
-
Maintain all equipment and buildings as applicable and necessary
-
Communicate with other departments, Hanover shops, as necessary, regarding product status, quality, and delivery
-
Establish and maintain working relationships with vendors and suppliers
-
Make decisions that protect the best interests of the company
-
Maintain a balanced workload in the shop and provide feedback to the General Manager as needed
-
Maintain inventory levels as needed and discussed with the General Manager and Purchasing Agent
-
Determine work hours as needed to maintain delivery schedules
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/ABILITIES

Managerial or supervisory experience required

Excellent spoken and written English

Detailed knowledge of industry

Strong customer service and interpersonal skills

High School Diploma or equivalent is required
