NRG Electric specializes in residential remodels and new construction, from insurance restoration jobs to high-end custom homes. We handle electrical, low-voltage, and smart home integration work, along with residential service calls and light commercial projects.
We are looking for someone comfortable working in finished homes, active job sites, and customer-facing environments while delivering clean, professional work.
Our compensation range:$40.00 - $50.00

Job Requirements: (non negotiables):
- You're a licensed Journeyman with at least 5 years in the electrical trade.
- You can be sent to a project and be able to figure out the best solution to get the job done
- You need to be more than an instruction worker, you should be able to problem solve
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical issues
- Ability to work by yourself and with an apprentice or other lead
- You are able to follow instructions
- You should be capable of keeping track of your projects and taking notes
- Show up on time, prepared and ready to work
- Transportation and license
- You should have soft skills/ are able to talk with customers, general contractors, and other trades on site
- You need to have your own tools and be willing to get all tools required
- Carry yourself in a professional manner and show up to work like you are representing a company
- We are not looking for an apprentice

- Are you able to lead and train an apprentice/ Electrical Trainee?
- In your position you will be expected to manage, order material, project plan, set checklists, give timelines, and train an ET or apprentice. Which of these will you excel with and which will you struggle with?
- Do you have a valid drivers license?
- An outlet and switch costs $10.20 together. If the outlet is exactly $10 more than the switch. How much does the switch cost? This question is important please take your time.
- We are a small company that does mostly residential, which means we do a lot of different types of projects. Do you have any concern with this?
- What electrical experience do you have? Do you have service experience? The more specific the better.
- We meet at the shop in the morning and carpool to most projects. We pay drive time to and from shop at $20 per hour and all on site time at full rate. Is this a concern? You can also have the option to meet at the job site.
