We are looking for a reliable, motivated Workshop Production Assistant to join our shop. No professional woodworking experience is required. If you have a great attitude, a strong work ethic, and are excited to work with your hands, we will train you on everything you need to know.
Responsibilities
- Tool Operation: Learn to safely and efficiently operate power drills and specialized router tables to handle routing wood edges and t-slotting.
- Material Handling: Assist with lifting, moving, and organizing wood components and raw materials safely across the shop floor.
- Production Support: Help prepare and assemble pieces for our custom studio desks and gear racks.
- Quality Control: Follow basic production instructions to ensure every piece meets our standards for high-quality craftsmanship.
- Shop Upkeep: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workshop environment to keep daily operations running smoothly.
Requirements
- Experience: Prior experience using hand tools or power tools is a plus, but not mandatory. A strong willingness to learn is essential.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform heavy lifting and remain on your feet throughout the workday in an active workshop environment.
- Detail-Oriented: A sharp eye for detail to ensure parts are prepped accurately and cleanly.
- Reliability: Punctual, dependable, and ready to show up on time for an early shift.
Pay & Schedule
- Pay Rate: $12.00 – $15.00 / hour (Starting rate based on tool comfort and experience).
- Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
