We are seeking a detail-oriented In-Process Quality Control Inspector to join a fast-paced, precision-focused machine shop environment. In this critical first-shift role, you will perform real-time inspections of machined parts to ensure every component meets rigorous standards before moving to the next stage of production
Morning shift, $23.00 per hour. 7am-330pm, Mon-Fri
What You’ll Do
- Perform real-time, in-process inspections of machined parts to ensure adherence to blueprints and tolerances.
- Verify dimensions using precision tools including calipers, micrometers, and height gauges.
- Interpret technical drawings and specifications using GD&T principles.
- Maintain detailed quality records, inspection logs, and non-conformance reports.
- Collaborate with machinists to troubleshoot defects and provide immediate feedback.
- Ensure all gauges and inspection tools are properly handled and calibrated.
- Follow safety protocols and quality standards to maintain a clean, compliant workspace.
- First Article or Final Inspections as needed
What You Bring
- 2+ year in quality inspection (post-plating/coatings preferred)
- Hands-on microscope use.
- 2+ year in In-Process inspections
- Confident reading blueprints; strong attention to detail and documentation
- Reliable, punctual, and flexible.
