Duties
- Prepare fresh ingredients and assemble sandwiches according to company standards and customer preferences
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing sales transactions accurately and efficiently
- Manage customer orders with professionalism, upselling menu items to enhance the guest experience
- Maintain a clean workspace by sanitizing surfaces, organizing ingredients, and adhering to food safety regulations
- Handle cash register operations, process cash and card payments, and accurately process cash transactions
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including slicers, ovens, refrigerators, and food prep tools
- Provide friendly customer service by greeting guests, answering questions about menu options, and ensuring satisfaction throughout their visit
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food preparation or quick service restaurant environments is highly preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on delivering outstanding customer service
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and follow health regulations diligently
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and managing sales accurately
- Retail or café experience is advantageous but not required; enthusiasm for food industry roles is essential
