Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Medical Grant Administrator and writer to lead our healthcare funding initiatives. This pivotal role involves overseeing the entire lifecycle of medical grants, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, managing vendor relationships, and facilitating seamless contract negotiations. - Manage the end-to-end process of medical grant applications, awards, and renewals, ensuring adherence to organizational policies and federal regulations such as the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and UCC law.
- Oversee procurement activities related to grant supplies, services, and vendor contracts, including vendor management, contract review, negotiation, and execution using platforms like DocuSign and ERP systems such as PeopleSoft or Salesforce.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive document management systems for grant documentation, legal agreements, intellectual property rights, and compliance records.
- Coordinate with legal teams to draft, review, and negotiate contracts and proposals that align with organizational goals while safeguarding intellectual property rights and legal interests.
- Ensure all grant-related activities comply with applicable laws including UCC law, federal regulations, and organizational policies through diligent compliance management practices.
- Conduct research on funding opportunities, prepare detailed proposals with strategic planning insights, and assist in pricing strategies for grant applications.
- Facilitate change management processes related to contract modifications or organizational policy updates; support business development efforts through proposal writing and strategic planning initiatives. Skills
- Extensive experience in procurement processes and vendor management within healthcare or research environments.
- Strong document management skills with proficiency in legal drafting, contract review, and records management systems.
- In-depth knowledge of compliance management standards including UCC law and Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR).
- Proven ability to negotiate contracts effectively while managing contractor relationships; adept at contract negotiation and contract management practices.
- Familiarity with ERP systems such as PeopleSoft or Salesforce for procurement tracking and documentation workflows; experience with DocuSign for electronic signatures.
- Excellent research capabilities coupled with technical writing skills for proposal development; ability to articulate complex concepts clearly.
- Strategic thinker with experience in business development, pricing strategies, and change management initiatives within a regulated environment.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
