Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and detailed floor maintenance across various surfaces.
- Execute specialized floor care tasks such as buffing, polishing, stripping, sealing, and waxing to restore floors to their optimal appearance.
- Conduct carpet cleaning using appropriate equipment and techniques to eliminate stains and maintain fresh, clean carpets.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness in all areas by performing janitorial tasks such as trash removal, restroom sanitation, dusting, and surface disinfecting.
- Utilize environmental services best practices to ensure safe handling of cleaning chemicals and adherence to health regulations.
- Inspect floors regularly for damage or wear; perform minor repairs or report issues promptly for professional resolution.
- Keep detailed records of cleaning schedules, maintenance activities, and supply inventories to ensure operational efficiency.
Experience
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services with a focus on floor care is essential.
- Demonstrated expertise in carpet cleaning, buffing, stripping, sealing, and waxing techniques preferred.
- Prior janitorial or environmental services experience that highlights attention to detail and safety compliance is highly valued.
- Familiarity with various cleaning equipment such as buffers, extractors, vacuums, and floor scrubbers is required.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning chemicals and environmentally friendly practices to promote safe working conditions.
