Position Summary
The Information Systems (IS) Coordinator is responsible for coordinating user access administration, maintaining access request records, supporting IT operational governance, and ensure the Service Desk department tracks UHP IT assets consistently and accurately, including but not limited to software licenses, equipment inventory and security certificates. This position serves as the primary coordinator for employee access to business systems, including onboarding, transfers, and offboarding activities. The IS Coordinator also attends Information Technology meetings, maintains departmental action-item trackers, monitors software licensing and technology inventory, and supports the overall effectiveness of the Information Services department.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- User Access Administration - Process, document, and fulfill employee access requests for business applications and systems. Create, modify, disable, and remove user accounts based on approved requests. Ensure all access changes receive appropriate management approval. Coordinate employee onboarding, transfers, and termination activities related to system access. Maintain role-based access security in accordance with company policies. Assist with periodic user access reviews and audit activities. Escalate unauthorized access requests or security concerns to management.
- IT Operations Coordination - Attend departmental IT meetings and project status meetings. Record meeting minutes, action items, decisions, and assignments. Maintain IT operational trackers and follow-up logs. Monitor progress of assigned action items and communicate status updates. Assist the Director of Information Services with departmental planning and reporting activities. Coordinate communication between IT and business stakeholders when required.
- Software License Management – Ensure Service Desk maintains an inventory of IT software assets included but not limited to software licenses and security certificates.
- IT Asset Management – Ensure Service Desk maintains accurate inventory records for laptops, desktops, monitors, mobile devices, and peripherals. Track assignment of IT assets to employees and departments. Conduct periodic asset inventory audits and reconciliations. Ensure inventory records remain current and accurate.
- Identify opportunities to improve IT processes through automation and standardization.
- Support special projects and other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience
- Associate's or bachelor’s degree in information technology, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Two (2) or more years of experience in IT support, user administration, systems administration, access management, IT coordination, or related fields preferred.
- Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should possess working knowledge of:
- Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
- Microsoft Entra ID / Active Directory
- IT Service Management (ITSM) or ticketing systems
- Software asset management tools
- Hardware inventory management systems
- Reporting and documentation tools
Other Qualifications
- Previous experience in Managed Care and Medicare preferred but not required.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
