VRO LLC is hiring a part-time courier to hand-deliver applications to the West Virginia Vital Registration Office (350 Capitol Street, Charleston) and return certified birth and death certificates to our customers.
What you'll do
- Print application paperwork we send (supplies reimbursed)
- Submit applications at the walk-up counter and wait for same-day issuance (typically ~15 minutes at the window)
- Photograph/scan each certificate, print a pre-paid shipping label on sticker paper we supply, and drop packages at USPS or FedEx
- Log completions in our web portal
Who we're looking for
- Live in or near Charleston
- Reliable car, valid WV driver's license, clean record
- Professional appearance and comfortable interacting with government office staff
- Careful with paperwork - you'll be handling signed legal authorization documents
- Comfortable with a smartphone camera and basic email
- Weekday availability, business hours
- Can pass a background check
Compensation
