Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and compassionate Dental Receptionist Patient Intake and Recare Coordinator to join our dynamic dental team. In this vital role, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients, managing patient intake, scheduling appointments, and coordinating recare (recall) visits to ensure seamless patient experiences. This position offers an engaging opportunity to contribute to quality dental care through excellent communication, organization, and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly upon arrival, verify their information, and facilitate smooth check-in processes using Eagle Soft
- Collect and review patient documentation, medical history, Verify/update patients billing address, insurance benefit plan, preferred method of contact to ensure accurate records and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Schedule new patient appointments efficiently while managing appointment calendars with precision.
- Hygiene recall tracking: Monitor and manage periodic cleaning and checkup reports.
- Outreach calls and texts: Contact due or overdue patients to book routine hygiene visits.
- Schedule optimization: Fill last-minute cancellations using active recall
- Communicate effectively with patients via phone and in person to answer inquiries, provide appointment reminders
- Maintain organized medical/Dental records and ensure confidentiality in accordance with clinical confidentiality policies.
- Ability to review documentation accurately while maintaining strict adherence to HIPAA guidelines and clinical confidentiality policies.
- Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail in filing, documentation review, and appointment scheduling.
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.

Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
