Job Overview
We are hiring a skilled Mold Fabricator to support production operations by building, repairing, and maintaining urethane molds. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys working with tools, solving mechanical problems, and keeping equipment in top condition.
You will play a key role in preventative maintenance, mold fabrication, and supporting overall facility upkeep.
Responsibilities
- Build, modify, and repair urethane molds
- Perform preventative and scheduled maintenance on mold inventory
- Troubleshoot and resolve mold-related issues
- Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance and repair work
- Monitor and manage spare parts and raw material inventory
- Maintain tools and keep work areas clean and organized
- Assist with general facility maintenance as needed
- Follow safety procedures and established operating standards
- Report equipment, quality, or safety concerns promptly
Qualifications
- Experience using hand and power tools
- Knowledge of carpentry, fabrication, or similar trade work
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints or technical drawings
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to estimate materials and project timelines
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office and ERP systems preferred)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Experience
- Prior carpentry experience
- Maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
