This is a no rush hire, we are casually looking for the right professional who exudes enthusiasm, kindness and outstanding client service. This individual will work directly with our clients and patients in the exam rooms and in our hospital ward to care for hospitalized patients and boarding pets.
Responsibilities include:
*Maintain efficient workflow. (We use Shepherd Veterinary Software which is AI capable and cloud based)
* Veterinary laboratory testing (in clinic idexx veterinary lab equipment)
*Working alongside our veterinary team to manage medical cases and maintaining AAHA standards.

Shift: Full-time position 7:20 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. 4 days a week. While we don't see appointments on weekends, you will be on a rotation for occasional weekend and/or evening coverage to care for hospitalized and boarding pets.

Experience Requirements:
- Experience working in veterinary setting.
- Computer literate and highly detail oriented.
- Ability to multi-task and develop healthy relationships with team members and clients.
- General Animal healthcare knowledge: Pet medical, behavioral and handling basics, vaccination types and protocols, and preventative products.
- High level of maturity, excellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to maintain professionalism in the face of stressful situations.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to bend and lift patients and carry supplies/equipment up to 50 pounds.
- Endure sitting for extended periods and standing or walking on hard surfaces for extended periods.
