American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Medical/Surgical position requiring a minimum of 2 years of Med/Surg experience and active SC or compact RN license.

Hospital Medical/Surgical unit setting

Night shift schedule working 3x12-hour shifts per week, 36 hours per week

13-week contract
-
Active SC or compact RN license required (no pending licenses accepted)

Current AHA certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)

Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) NCI with Advanced Physical Skills Training course certification required

Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg RN experience in a U.S. hospital required

Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program required

BSN highly desired

US Social Security Number required

Two manager or supervisor references preferred, verifying experience within the previous 12 months, with at least one from the most recent employer

Performs initial and ongoing patient assessments, including full review of systems, and documents findings per policy

Delivers age-appropriate, patient- and family-centered care across the life span

Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
