Summary
The Tool Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the tool room, including the maintenance, repair, and availability of tooling used in manufacturing operations. This role ensures tooling is maintained to quality standards, supports production efficiency, and supervises tool room personnel to meet operational and safety goals.
Responsibilities:
· Supervise the maintenance, repair, and storage of all production tooling and equipment.
· Ensure tooling and equipment is available and in proper working condition to support production schedules.
· Coordinate tooling changes, repairs, and preventative maintenance.
· Lead and supervise tool room technicians and support staff.
· Assign daily work priorities and monitor productivity.
· Provide training, coaching, and performance feedback.
· Ensure tooling meets quality standards and supports production specifications.
· Identify opportunities to improve team members and tool performance and reduce downtime.
· Assist with root cause analysis related to tooling failures.
· Ensure compliance with all safety policies, procedures, and regulations.
· Promote a safe work environment and enforce proper equipment usage.
· Maintain proper documentation and records related to tooling maintenance.
· Work closely with engineering, maintenance, and production teams to resolve tooling issues.
· Support new tooling implementation and process improvements.
· Assist with troubleshooting manufacturing issues related to tooling.
Qualifications:
· 5+ years of experience in tooling, or manufacturing environment preferred.
· Previous lead or supervisory experience preferred.
· Tool maintenance and repair
· Blueprint reading and GD&T understanding
· Manufacturing processes and tooling systems
· Preventative maintenance practices

Pay: $29.00 - $31.00 per hour
