We're looking for a Director of Marketing who can help tell that story.
This is a leadership role for someone equally comfortable thinking about long-term brand strategy as they are rolling up their sleeves to execute. You'll partner closely with our Creative Director and CEO to bring the Welly brand to life across every touchpoint while leading the marketing strategy that drives growth. From developing campaigns and launching new products to creating content, analyzing performance, and identifying new opportunities, you'll help shape how people discover Welly and why they believe in what we're building.

What You'll DoLead Marketing Strategy
- Develop and own Welly's overall marketing strategy in support of company growth objectives.
- Partner with the Creative Director to define positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies across products and campaigns.
- Identify opportunities to grow brand awareness, customer acquisition, and customer loyalty.
- Build annual marketing plans, budgets, and success metrics.
Build an Iconic American Brand
- Partner with the Creative Director to continually evolve and strengthen the Welly brand across every customer touchpoint.
- Help ensure consistency in voice, storytelling, customer experience, and marketing communications while supporting the broader creative vision.
- Develop compelling narratives around innovation, American manufacturing, sustainability, and craftsmanship.
- Help establish Welly as the leader in premium American-made drinkware.
Drive Product Launches & Campaigns
- Partner with the Creative Director to develop integrated marketing campaigns for new product launches, seasonal initiatives, and brand moments.
- Lead campaign planning, channel strategy, timelines, and execution across digital, retail, PR, partnerships, and social media.
- Collaborate with product development, sales, and operations to successfully bring new products to market.
Create & Manage Content
- Be a hands-on contributor to Welly's marketing efforts by helping create, edit, and manage content across social media, email marketing, the website, and other digital channels.
- Maintain marketing calendars and coordinate content production across internal teams and external partners.
- Work alongside the Creative Director and creative partners to ensure content is both strategically effective and creatively compelling.
Grow the Business
- Oversee digital marketing initiatives including paid media, email marketing, social media, influencer partnerships, content marketing, SEO, and lifecycle marketing.
- Optimize customer acquisition and retention across owned and paid channels.
- Continuously test, learn, and improve marketing performance through data and customer insights.
Lead Marketing Operations
- Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing marketing team as the company grows.
- Manage agency relationships, freelancers, and strategic partners.
- Foster strong collaboration across marketing, creative, sales, product development, customer service, and executive leadership.
Measure What Matters
- Establish KPIs and reporting frameworks across all marketing initiatives.
- Analyze campaign performance, customer behavior, and market trends to inform future strategy.
- Make data-informed decisions while balancing creativity and business objectives.
- Manage the marketing budget and maximize return on investment.
What We're Looking For
- 7+ years of progressive marketing experience with leadership responsibility.
- Experience building consumer brands, preferably in premium consumer products, outdoor, lifestyle, or CPG.
- Demonstrated success leading integrated marketing campaigns from strategy through execution.
- Strong understanding of brand marketing, digital marketing, product launches, retail marketing, content strategy, and customer acquisition.
- Experience creating and managing content across digital marketing channels.
- Excellent storytelling, communication, and presentation skills.
- Experience managing agencies, creative partners, and cross-functional teams.
- Comfortable balancing strategic leadership with hands-on execution.
- Passion for design, product, innovation, and creating meaningful customer experiences.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to translate insights into action.
