Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a diverse range of deli items, including hot foods, and snacks, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
- Assist with menu planning by suggesting new items and seasonal specials to keep offerings fresh and appealing.
- Maintain proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and compliance with health regulations.
- Manage food prep stations efficiently, including chopping, slicing, assembling, and cooking ingredients with precision.
- Serve customers promptly with friendly and professional attitude, providing excellent food service experience.
- Keep the deli area clean, organized, and stocked throughout your shift to ensure smooth operations.
- Follow all food safety protocols and sanitation guidelines diligently to uphold high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
Requirements
- Previous experience in dietary departments or dietary aide roles is highly desirable.
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations within a restaurant or food industry setting.
- Knowledge of menu planning, meal preparation techniques, and culinary practices including knife skills.
- Experience with food handling safety standards and sanitation procedures.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills with a positive attitude toward customer service.
- Prior experience in catering or fine dining environments is a plus but not required.
