Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting products or services that suit their needs
- Process cash transactions accurately using cash registers and POS systems, including cash handling and cashiering duties
- Manage cash drawer operations, ensuring proper cash management and reconciliation at shift end
- Support retail lending activities by explaining financial products, such as loans or credit options, to customers
- Perform data entry tasks related to sales, customer information, and transaction records with precision using retail software and 10-key typing skills
- Assist with loan collections and processing loan applications or payments as needed
- Maintain a clean, organized sales floor; restock merchandise; ensure product displays are appealing and accessible
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring a positive shopping experience
- Support team efforts in retail math calculations for pricing, discounts, and inventory management
Qualifications
- Prior experience in retail sales or retail store environments is preferred
- Knowledge of banking or financial services is a plus, especially related to retail lending or loan processing
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions, retail math calculations, and financial software use
- Experience with data entry tasks using retail or financial software systems
- Ability to handle cash drawer operations accurately and efficiently while maintaining confidentiality
- Familiarity with loan collections, loan processing procedures, and cash management practices is advantageous
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment with a positive attitude
