Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Logistics Coordinator for our client Carmeuse Lime in Pittsburgh, PA. Carmeuse is an industry leader in the production of Lime based products and the Logistics Coordinator will be responsible managing the supply chain operations for several Carmeuse locations, building relationships with customers, vendors & carriers, negotiating rates & contracts, analyzing logistical performance metrics etc. This a direct hire, hybrid position (work from home Mon & Fri, in office Tues, Wed & Thurs) with the core hours of 7:00am - 4:00pm and offers the starting salary of $78,000 - $85,000 plus 10% AIP bonus, medical benefits, 401k, paid vacation & 11 paid holidays. Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily shipments and deliveries across multiple channels for locations throughout the United States and eastern Canada.
- Build and maintain relationships with customers, vendors, carriers & internal teams
- Negotiate rates & contracts with transportation providers to ensure cost-effective solutions
- Monitor and analyze logistics performance metrics using Excel and other tools
- Resolve customer issues promptly and professionally, ensuring high satisfaction
- Maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory, and logistics documentation
- Collaborate cross-functionally to streamline processes and improve service levels
Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or transportation coordination.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis).
- Customer-first mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 30% of the time.
Pay: $78,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
