Read's Uniforms is a locally owned & rapidly growing company specializing in public safety, medical, education, and hospitality uniforms. Our decoration and fulfillment center in Asheville services our 20+ retail stores and the public safety communities of 8 states.
We are seeking a warehouse associate whose primary responsibilities will be putting stock away and puling stock for orders. The position requires someone with the ability to critically think, and problem solve issues as they come up, someone who is neat and organized with a good memory.
The shift is 8:30-5:00 pm Monday-Friday There is flexibility based on need once you are established. We are very team oriented; there will be times when a shipping team member works in receiving and vice versa. We are looking for a team player open to any task that is required to satisfy our customers' needs. Overtime is sometimes offered and is seasonally required.
We are growing, this job could be a jumping off point for the right person to grow within the company. People who start in the warehouse and learn the business from the ground up are in a great position to fill a larger role as they come available.
Responsibilities
- Distribute and organize stock as items are received.
- Pull orders from the daily pulls list.
- Maintain organization of stock kept in the warehouse.
- Collaborate with team members to fulfill orders and meet deadlines.
