Kids of the Kingdom is seeking a passionate, dependable, and licensed Early Childhood Educator to join our Universal Pre-K program. We are looking for someone who believes in creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom where children learn through play, exploration, meaningful relationships, and hands-on experiences.

Duties

Plan and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate learning experiences aligned with the Vermont Early Learning Standards (VELS).

Foster a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment where every child feels valued, supported, and encouraged to learn.

Observe, assess, and document children's growth and development.

Differentiate instruction and provide individualized support to meet each child's unique needs.

Build positive relationships with children, families, and coworkers through respectful and professional communication.

Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive, supportive learning environment.

Maintain a clean, organized, and engaging classroom that promotes independence and exploration.

Complete a minimum of 35 hours of professional development annually and remain current with best practices in early childhood education.

Follow all licensing regulations and program policies to ensure a safe and high-quality learning environment.
Qualifications

Vermont Early Childhood Educator License (or eligibility for licensure) required.

Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred.

Experience teaching preschool or Universal Pre-K students is preferred.

Knowledge of Vermont Early Learning Standards and developmentally appropriate practice.

Strong classroom management, communication, and organizational skills.
