We are an established Construction Company in Clackamas County looking for an Accounting Manager that can join our team.
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to lead our accounting team and ensure the accuracy, compliance, and integrity of our financial operations. Duties
- Lead and supervise the accounting team to ensure accurate preparation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and relevant regulatory standards.
- Oversee general ledger reconciliation, journal entries, accounts payable and receivable management, and bank reconciliations to maintain precise financial records.
- Prepare and review financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow analyses.
- Develop budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis to support strategic planning initiatives
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in accounting and finance roles with a strong background in corporate accounting principles.
- Demonstrated expertise in technical accounting areas including Quickbooks.
- Proficiency with financial software such as Quickbooks, or other leading accounting systems; advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications—especially spreadsheets—and financial report writing tools.
- Strong understanding of double entry bookkeeping, balance sheet reconciliation, account analysis, journal entries, and accrual accounting practices.
- Experience managing accounts payable/receivable processes along with bank reconciliations and cash flow analysis.
- Knowledge of specialized areas such as non-profit accounting, governmental accounting standards or securities law is highly desirable.
- Excellent analytical skills combined with the ability to interpret complex financial concepts clearly and accurately.
- Ability to mentor team members effectively while handling confidential information with integrity.
