Holiday Lighting Installer – Seasonal | $20–$30/hr
Join the Lights on Main Street team and help create beautiful holiday displays throughout Southern NH and Southern Maine!
We're looking for dependable, hardworking people who enjoy working outdoors, staying active, and being part of a team. No previous holiday lighting experience is required—we provide paid training.
Starting Pay
- New Installer: $20/hour
- Experienced Installer: $24/hour
- Crew Lead: $30/hour
Your starting pay will be based on your experience and the position you qualify for.
What You'll Do
- Install and remove professional holiday lighting and decorations on residential and commercial properties
- Work safely from ladders and at various heights
- Install roofline lighting, tree and landscape lighting, and decorative displays
- Use basic hand tools and professional installation equipment
- Work efficiently as part of a crew
- Follow safety procedures and company installation standards
- Keep work areas clean and organized
- Provide professional and courteous service at customer properties
What We're Looking For

No previous lighting experience is required. Paid training is provided.
Schedule & Season
This is a seasonal position beginning with training in September and installation work in the fall, continuing through the holiday season and finish towards the end of January. Most weeks will be approximately 30–40 hours, with additional hours/overtime potentially available during peak installation periods based on workload and weather.
Both full-time and part-time seasonal candidates are welcome.
Work Location
Our crews meet at our Barrington, NH location and travel together to customer properties throughout Southern New Hampshire and Southern Maine. Reliable transportation to the Barrington starting location is required.
Opportunities for Advancement
We are building multiple installation crews and are looking for people who want to grow with the company. Experienced installers may have the opportunity to advance to Crew Lead at $30/hour, based on experience, performance, reliability, and leadership ability.
