Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner, providing excellent customer service that encourages repeat visits.
- Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process orders efficiently and accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities.
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards by following proper food handling procedures and sanitation protocols.
- Assist with food service when needed, including serving food at bars or during catering events like banquets or private parties.
- Manage time effectively during busy shifts, multitasking between serving drinks, taking orders, and handling payments seamlessly.
- Support sales initiatives by upselling drinks and promoting specials to maximize revenue opportunities.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining settings, nightclubs, or catering environments is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, along with basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse guests in fast-paced environments.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures to ensure guest safety.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during high-volume shifts.
- Experience working with beverage brewing techniques or in the food industry is a plus.
