Experienced Line Cook – Brunch & Lunch Program

Pay: $18.00 – $23.00 per hour (based on experience)

JK Jalisco’s Kitchen is seeking an experienced and quality-driven Line Cook to join our growing brunch and lunch program.
Our kitchen focuses on well-executed proteins, balanced flavors, consistency, and professional presentation. Our menu includes premium burgers, ribeye, salmon, chicken dishes (including mole), elevated sandwiches, and carefully plated entrées.
This is not a fast-food concept. We are building a kitchen centered on quality, execution, and attention to detail.
This is an in-person position. Applicants must reside within reasonable commuting distance (approximately 30 miles) of Moreno Valley, CA.
Responsibilities
- Execute a variety of proteins including beef, chicken, and seafood
- Properly cook burgers, steaks, and other entrées to correct internal temperatures
- Maintain consistent plating and presentation standards
- Follow recipes and portion control guidelines
- Ensure flavor balance and quality across all menu items
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workstation
- Perform under pressure during high-volume service
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of professional kitchen experience
- Strong knowledge of protein cooking techniques and internal temperatures
- Experience working with multiple flavor profiles
- Ability to maintain consistency under pressure
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- Weekend availability required
