MasTec Advanced Technologies is currently hiring Broadband Service Technicians to support our partnership with Charter Communications in the Greenville, SC area.

Position Summary
As a Broadband Service Technician, you'll install, maintain, and troubleshoot residential broadband services for customers throughout Greenville and surrounding communities within approximately 50 minutes of the target area. This is a field-based position with daily travel to customer locations.
Training Information
- Training Start Date: July 21, 2026
- Training Location: Piedmont, South Carolina
- Training Pay: $23.00 per hour
Primary Responsibilities
- Install broadband equipment and telecommunications services in residential homes.
- Diagnose service interruptions and resolve connectivity issues.
- Complete indoor and outdoor installations while meeting company quality standards.
- Safely use hand tools, power tools, ladders, and testing equipment.
- Record service activities and completed work accurately.
- Deliver professional and customer-focused service during every appointment.

Minimum Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record
- Must reside in Greenville, SC or within approximately 50 minutes of the service area
- Available to attend training beginning July 21, 2026
- Ability to lift up to 80 pounds regularly
- Comfortable carrying and climbing ladders up to 36 feet
- Willing to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Must successfully pass background, drug, and motor vehicle screenings
Required Experience
This is not an entry-level position. Although fiber optic experience is not required, applicants should have a minimum of 8 months of experience in the following:
- Operating hand tools and/or power tools
- Working safely on ladders
- Performing physically demanding work, including heavy lifting
- Following workplace safety procedures
- Providing quality customer service
Work Environment
- Daily travel throughout the Greenville service area
- Outdoor work in a variety of weather conditions
- Frequent use of ladders, tools, and personal protective equipment
- Exposure to construction environments, pets, and moderate job-site noise
