CDL-A Driver - Manual Transmission Required
Victor S. Barnes & Co., founded in 1958 in Grand Rapids, MI is a leader in the value-added distribution of wood panel products, interior and exterior entry doors, and laminates. Business growth has created the need for an additional Class A Driver to join our team of seasoned drivers. Drivers will transport product to our customer base within the tri-state area and perform general warehouse functions as needed.

Job Details:
- $26.00/hr. Starting Wage
- Daytime/solo routes. Home every night, Mon-Fri

Key Responsibilities:
- Ability to drive a Manual Transmission tractor
- A Victor S. Barnes driver, is the face of the company to the customers
- Drivers develop strong relationships that create value and trust with customers
- Operate a tractor trailer to convey products to customer locations
- Unload and place all products in customer-designated drop off locations
- Ensure accurate and on-time deliveries while maintaining safety
- Miscellaneous warehouse functions and/or production tasks as needed (operating a Hilo, moving products, general cleaning)
- Miscellaneous cleaning
- Additional tasks as assigned
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
- History of safe driving
- At least 21 years of age
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A)
- Minimum of 3 years of tractor trailer driving experience with a valid CDL-A
- Good verbal communication skills
- Ability to work alone and as part of a team
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening in accordance with all state and federal laws
- Hand loading and unloading doors
