Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring that our facilities operate efficiently and effectively. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in industrial maintenance and have the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues promptly. You will be responsible for maintaining equipment, performing repairs, and providing excellent customer service to ensure a safe and functional environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify maintenance needs.
- Perform repairs on HVAC systems, machinery, and other facility-related equipment.
- Analyze schematics and blueprints to understand systems and troubleshoot issues.
- Fabricate parts as necessary to ensure proper functioning of equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
- Provide field service support as needed, responding promptly to service requests.
- Collaborate with team members to improve maintenance processes and efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all maintenance activities.
Skills
- Proficiency in industrial maintenance practices and techniques.
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems and their operation.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics for troubleshooting purposes.
