Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), refrigeration, and other mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and repair appliances, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration units, and various equipment using schematics and technical manuals.
- Conduct electrical, plumbing, and mechanical repairs as needed to maintain facility operations.
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to diagnose issues accurately.
- Lead small maintenance projects or assist construction teams with installation or upgrades of equipment and systems.
- Maintain detailed records of repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities for compliance and future reference.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests to minimize downtime and ensure safety standards are met.
Experience
- Proven experience as a service technician or maintenance technician in a commercial or industrial setting.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, or related fields.
- Familiarity with schematics, technical diagrams, and troubleshooting procedures for complex equipment.
- Knowledge of HVAC systems including air conditioning units, ventilation systems, and refrigeration equipment.
- Experience with equipment repair in construction or facility maintenance environments is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to work independently or lead small teams when necessary.
- Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a proactive attitude toward maintenance and safety compliance.
