Mare Rooftop, Providence's premier rooftop dining destination, is looking for an ambitious experienced professional line cook or pizza cook to join our team of dedicated employees. Open Tuesday - Sunday we are looking for a cook who will be capable of working in multiple stations, specifically our pizza station and occasionally hot line, and growing with our experienced kitchen team. Prior experience is a must and preferably in similar upscale dining atmospheres. Come be a part of our "elevated" dining experience!
Requirements:
- 3 years minimum experience at a full-service restaurant (preferably upscale dining) required
- Must have flexible work schedule: days, nights, weekends, and some holidays as needed
- Understanding of food safety and sanitization procedures.
- Ability to take direction and learn steps of preparation for multiple food items
- Be a team player, organized, and attentive to detail
Job Role:
- Prepare all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner
- Follow recipes and presentation specifications
- Operate standard kitchen equipment safety and efficiently
- Clean and maintain station in practicing good safety and sanitation
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
