Duties
- Implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans tailored to toddlers, twos, and preschool-aged children.
- Create a positive classroom atmosphere that promotes social-emotional growth, behavior management, and child welfare through effective classroom management practices.
- Lead activities that promote childhood development milestones while encouraging curiosity, creativity, and physical activity.
- Foster strong communication with children, parents, and colleagues to support individualized learning goals and ensure a collaborative classroom environment.
- Monitor and assess student progress and documents in the form of assessments.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized childcare environment that adheres to all licensing regulations and Ivy Kids' standards.
Qualifications
- Proven classroom experience working with children in a licensed child care center is REQUIRED.
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, and behavior management techniques.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with parents, staff, and colleagues.
- CDA or degree in early childhood education or related field.

Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
