What they’re looking for:
- Active license in the State of Washington as a Medical Assistant-Certified (National certifications must still be credentialed through the WA State Department of Health)
- Minimum of 1 year of prior Medical Assistant experience required, with a focus on Pediatrics
- Familiarity with Electronic Medical Record systems, experience with Epic preferred
- Current Healthcare Provider (HCP) CPR certification
Hours and compensation potential:
- Full-time positions available, including one in Pediatrics. Hours are 7:45am-5:15pm.
- Hourly rate between $21hr-$35.50hr, dependent on experience. Shift differentials include $2.10hr for evenings, $3hr for nights, and $2.25hr for weekends.
- Comprehensive benefits package offered, with relocation assistance up to $5,000 and a sign-on bonus up to $5,000
What you’ll be doing:
- In the role of Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C), you will support providers and clinic staff by conducting various back-office and patient-related tasks to ensure efficient patient care workflows.
Your responsibilities include performing a range of patient care procedures within the facility's defined scope of practice under Washington State certification. Tasks may involve administering injections, conducting EKG's, ear lavage, blood draws, vital sign measurement, managing patient flow, and assisting with pre-visit and post-visit duties.
