Skills:
- make frame stiff so printer no wobble when go fast (FEA, modal analysis)
- make hot box stay hot, make part not warp (thermal design, chamber, expansion)
- make really good hot glue gun (hotend, extruder)
- asking factory make part (vendor work, drawings)
- turn one prototype into many printer (DFM, sheet metal, machining, pilot builds)
- measuring, prove thing accurate (metrology, DOE, validation)
- design machine that run 10,000 hour(reliability, serviceability)
You will design 3D printers, doing CAD work, prototyping, and preparing for manufacturing.
We also do sales engineering that you may take on either as a project from the start or as sustainment if you are a good fit.
