Carl's Furniture is an established, family-owned furniture retailer seeking an experienced Furniture Sales Manager to lead our Oakland Park showroom.
We're looking for a motivated, hands-on leader with a proven background in furniture sales who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service, driving sales, and helping grow an independent business.
This is not a desk job. Our Sales Manager leads by example, works directly with customers, coaches the sales team, and helps create an outstanding shopping experience every day.
Responsibilities
- Lead the sales floor by providing an exceptional customer experience.
- Drive personal sales while helping the team achieve monthly goals.
- Coach, motivate, and develop sales associates.
- Increase average ticket value through product knowledge and effective selling techniques.
- Assist customers with financing options and protection plans.
- Follow up with customers and sales opportunities to maximize closing rates.
- Maintain an organized, attractive, and well-merchandised showroom.
- Assist with hiring, onboarding, and training new sales associates.
- Work closely with ownership to develop ideas that help grow the business.
Qualifications
Required
- Minimum of 5 years of furniture sales experience.
- Previous leadership or sales management experience preferred.
- Proven ability to consistently meet or exceed sales goals.
- Strong closing, communication, and customer service skills.
- Experience with financing programs and furniture protection plans.
- Professional, dependable, and self-motivated.
- Weekend availability.
Preferred
- Experience selling furniture from brands such as Ashley, Coaster, Elements, New Classic, Homelegance, or similar manufacturers.
- Experience working in an independent furniture retailer.
- Established customer relationships within the South Florida market.
Compensation & Benefits
We offer a competitive compensation package that includes a base salary, commission, and performance incentives. Final compensation will be based on experience, qualifications, and overall fit.
