Job Summary
I need someone that either has window experience or is capable of learning. If you have experience and can install a window right, you’ll get 25/hr. If not I’ll start you out at $20/hr. I’ll train you and up your pay as you learn and can work without oversight. I can eventually pay you per window, if you’d like. We do new construction and R&R’s. We’re going to be on different jobsites around Sarasota and Charlotte counties.

Responsibilities
- Assist in measuring and cutting window frames, glass materials, and related components with precision to ensure proper fit and function
- Handle glass materials safely, including loading, transporting, and installing windows, doors, and fixtures according to construction plans
- Read blueprints and technical drawings to interpret specifications for window and glass installation projects
- Use hand tools and power tools effectively for assembly, fabrication, caulking, trim carpentry, and fixture installation
- Perform heavy lifting of glass panels, metal studs, and other construction materials while maintaining safety protocols
- Conduct quality control measurements during installation to ensure adherence to dimensional specifications and construction standards
- Support the interpretation of construction plans and technical drawings for accurate installation of windows, doors, and related fixtures
Experience
- Prior construction site experience with a focus on window or glass installation is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for motivated candidates
- Familiarity with construction estimating, blueprint reading, and interpreting technical drawings is advantageous
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, caulking, trim carpentry, metal stud framing, and fixture installation is highly desirable
- Knowledge of glass materials handling and installation techniques ensures efficient workflow and safety compliance
- Background in remodeling projects or handyman work demonstrates versatility in construction tasks
- Ability to perform measurement (quality control) checks accurately for a range of materials including glass panels and fixtures
