Summary of the Nurse Practitioner Position
PHC is looking for a Part Time or Full Time Nurse Practitioner is responsible for overseeing the operational aspects of the patient care and clinical functions. This role combines clinical expertise to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care while driving initiatives that align with organizational goals.

Nurse Practitioner Qualifications and Skills:
- Current Nurse Practitioner license with at least 2 years of clinical experience.
- Experience in clinical leadership and supervision of medical assistants, preferable.
- Strong knowledge of clinical care delivery, quality improvement, and regulatory compliance.
- Proficient EHR user, preferably EPIC
- Demonstrated commitment to advancing health equity and addressing disparities in care.
Some of the Nurse Practitioner Job Duties:
- Prescribe medication, examine patients, diagnose illnesses and provide treatment.
- Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests.
- Gather health histories, perform physical examinations and diagnostic procedures.
- Providing health promotion, prevention, and treatments to patients.
- Diagnosing and treating acute and chronic conditions such as diabetes, high blood pressure, infections, and injuries.
- Prescribing medications when needed to ensure patient health and well-being.
- Develop and implement treatment plans.
- Dictate and document all patient interactions.
- Manage day-to-day operations of the Health Center overseeing the Medical Assistants.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $75.00 - $85.00 per hour
