American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele night shift position in Ohio, requiring 2 years of RN experience and Epic proficiency.

Work in a 27-bed Urology unit (East Tower 3) within a large academic hospital system
-
Patient population includes nephrology, urology (surgical and non-surgical), benign hematology, and general med/surg cases
-
Estimated patient ratio of 1:4-5

Schedule: 3x12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
-
No on-call requirements

Floating to other units within the organization is required as needed

Epic EMR experience is required

Active OH RN license or compact RN license (must be active at time of consideration)

Current BLS certification required
-
Minimum 2 years of RN experience required

Proficiency in IV insertion, telemetry monitoring, and intermediate-level care skills required

Epic EMR experience required

2 professional references required: at least 1 must be from a Manager, Director, or formal leadership role (e.g., Supervisor); a Charge RN is acceptable as a 2nd reference; co-worker references are not accepted

Previous travel nursing experience is preferred

Former employees of the facility are eligible after a minimum 6-month separation

All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of consideration and is limited to 7 days or fewer for the contract duration

Ohio state fingerprinting is required and must be completed promptly upon booking — candidates outside Ohio may need to drive to an in-state fingerprinting location or will be mailed a fingerprinting packet to complete urgently
