As a Specialist – Supplier Relations, you will serve as the primary liaison between external suppliers and Wesco. You will manage national supplier partnerships by ensuring accurate supplier data, tracking performance metrics, developing issue resolution, and assisting with supplier programs that impact availability, cost, and service levels. This role develops relationship management plans by covering day to day tasks for Cisco, Arista, Juniper Networks, and Aruba, including data mining, reporting, presentation generation & marketing efforts.
Responsibilities:
- Lead day-to-day interactions between Wesco and the external partner, including gathering information, following up on open items, and supporting routine communication.
- Schedule and prepare materials for supplier meetings, business reviews, and planning sessions.
- Responsible for coordinating meetings with suppliers and sales teams, document meeting notes, action items, and follow-though requirements.
- Maintain supplier scorecards, dashboards, and KPI tracking tools.
- Review data related to fill rates, on time delivery, quality issues, and cost changes, communicate findings to internal teams and external partners to drive strategies and solutions.
- Develop resolutions for delivery or order discrepancies and coordinate with supply chain teams to execute.
- Develops relationship management plans by covering day to day tasks for Cisco, Arista, Juniper Networks, and Aruba, including data mining, reporting, presentation generation & marketing efforts.
- Advise internal and external partners regarding demand planning by collecting supplier forecasts, lead time updates, and production constraints.
- Assist with contract renewals, amendments, and documentation workflows.
- Responsible for product setup, pricing updates, and promotional activities.
- Collaborate with suppliers to educate sales teams regarding supplier funded marketing or training initiatives.
- Evaluate supplier proposals, gather data for cost or program analysis, and provide recommendations based on the findings.
- Manage supplier relationships involving maintaining accurate supplier records, tracking supplier responses to corrective action requests and processing supplier updates in ERP or supplier management systems.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree - Business, Supply Chain, Operations, or related field required
- 2+ years of experience in supply chain, procurement, operations, or administrative support
- Experience in IT solution design with Cisco, Arista, Juniper Networks, and Aruba networking products preferred.
- Current Cisco, Arista, Juniper Networks, and Aruba Networking Certifications preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and comfort working with data
- Proficiency with Excel and basic reporting tools
- Clear communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to travel 0% - 25%

Compensation Details $73,125 - $95,062 Annually
This amount is what we reasonably believe we will pay for the position; however, offer amounts may vary based on factors such as geographic location, relevant education, experience, qualifications, skills, shift, or any collective bargaining agreements.
For eligible positions, compensation may include participation in a bonus or sales incentive plan, subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable plan documents. For certain sales roles, Wesco also offers a commission structure that provides additional compensation based on sales results, as defined by the applicable commission plan.
