Independent Skills Facilitator (ISF)
Must be Mandarin-speaking
Provides support and training for an assigned group of individuals with developmental disabilities who need assistance with all aspects of their lives.
SVS, an innovative program that serves adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, wishes to hire high energy individuals that will assist with applying for general resources and helping with personal lives. Do you enjoy helping others? Are you creative? SVS is looking to fill independent skills facilitator position at independent vision program in Monterey Park. Experience with people with disabilities is a plus. Duties and Responsibilities are to assist clients in recognizing and identifying training and support needs, participate in futures planning and other client related meetings, collect and summarize data on client progress toward goals, train/teach skills identified on reports, serve as advocate for clients with public and other agencies. Serving the Los Angeles, Glendale and San Gabriel areas.
Must pass a criminal background check and job-related physical. You must possess a California driver’s license, own vehicle with liability insurance and a clean driving record.
