What we are hiring: We are seeking an Aluminum Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in aluminum welding and experience in metal fabrication, construction, or a related skilled trade, along with a strong work ethic and a desire to learn, grow, and advance within the company. Year 1 salary is $55,000, plus the following:
- 15 personal PTO days in Year 1 (increasing by 1 day per year up to 20 days)

About Marine Service Group: Marine Service Group is a marine service, repair, welding, and fabrication company serving commercial and recreational marine customers along the Gulf Coast. Under the same ownership as a large boat club and pontoon rental operation with more than 100 boats across 8 locations, we perform work both for our affiliated companies and for a growing base of third-party marine businesses.
Our welding division, Emerald Coast Welding & Fabrication, is a key area of future growth for the company. With more than 22 years of success in the marine industry, we are seeking an additional welder to help expand our welding and fabrication capabilities. Job Hours: This is a full-time position with a typical 40-hour Monday - Friday work schedule. Employees receive paid vacation and company holidays as outlined above. Standard working hours are generally 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM, although schedules may vary throughout the year based on workload and operational needs.
The majority of work is performed at Marine Service Group's service, repair, and welding facility in Fort Walton Beach. However, because of the nature of the marine industry, this position will also involve working on boats at local marinas and docks, as well as operating and transporting boats between locations when needed.
Job Requirements:
· 3+ years of aluminum welding experience
· Ability to accurately read and use a tape measure in a welding, fabrication, or construction environment
· Ability to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
· Self-motivated, dependable, and eager to grow with the company
· Experience performing general repairs and maintenance on boats and outboard motors, or a strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
· Valid driver's license.
