The starting pay starts at $17.00 per hour, with starting compensation determined by the candidate's experience.
The Inventory Specialist is responsible for overseeing all aspects of in-house inventory management. This role works closely with the Store Manager, VP of Retail, and other staff members to ensure accuracy and compliance across all processes. Key responsibilities include receiving and verifying incoming orders, accurately processing inventory through the METRC and Treez systems, and ensuring all products are properly labeled and prepared for sale. The Inventory Specialist also upholds all policies, procedures, and compliance requirements related to inventory, maintains stocked and organized shelves, and provides ongoing support to the store in all inventory related matters.
Core Responsibilities
- Receiving and verifying weekly orders
- Stickering each and every product in preparation for it to be sold in store
- Make products available for floor staff to sell
- Keep backstock areas neat and organized
- Communicate with General Manager, VP of Retail & Buyer about inventory issues or stock level issues.
- Follow required Metrc requirements to stay compliant
- Use FIFO to make sure oldest products are sold first
- Delegating tasks related to inventory alongside the GM to fellow staff members on the sales floor to ensure all inventory needs are being met daily

Qualifications
- High School Graduate or GED
- 2 or more Years of Inventory Related Experience
- Industry Experience a plus but not required
Working Conditions
Positions in this class require: standing, walking typing, talking, hearing, seeing, and repetitive motions. May be required to lift up to 30 pounds, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects while completing essential functions. This position a majority of the workday includes but is not limited to; walking and standing. The employee is required to have close visual acuity to perform activities such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures, viewing a computer screen, handling smartphone devices, and reading extensively. The office environment is climate controlled and little outside activity. Ability to transport product as necessary for customers.
