Position Overview
Align Treatment Center is seeking an experienced Director of Nursing (DON) to oversee nursing operations across two adolescent residential treatment programs. The DON provides leadership for nursing services, clinical operations, regulatory compliance, staffing, and quality of care while supporting a collaborative, patient-centered treatment environment. This role works closely with executive leadership and medical providers to ensure safe, consistent, and compliant nursing practices across both facilities.
Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee nursing operations across two residential facilities
- Supervise nursing staff, Nurse Managers, and support personnel
- Ensure compliance with Title 22 regulations and accreditation standards
- Oversee nursing workflows, medication systems, and clinical documentation
- Support staffing, onboarding, training, and competency development
- Partner with medical providers and interdisciplinary teams to support continuity of care
- Lead nursing readiness for audits, surveys, and quality initiatives
- Promote a culture of professionalism, accountability, and patient safety
Qualifications
- Current California RN license in good standing
- 5+ years of RN experience required
- Leadership or supervisory experience
- Behavioral health, psychiatric, residential, or eating disorder experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of healthcare compliance and nursing operations
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $120,000–$150,000 DOE

Pay: $120,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
